Citroen Nemo
It may be compact, but with a load volume of 2.8 cubic metres, the Nemo is still a very practical van for its size. With sliding doors on either side and swing doors at the rear, it provides easy loading access and a host of high-tech features that make it a competitive option for equipment transport and local delivery runs.
Powered by an HDi 75 diesel engine, the Nemo can be specified with features such as a clutchless gearbox to make it very capable of taking on urban roads and city driving conditions. Citroen Berlingo
The Berlingo should need no introduction: it's a range with an impeccable pedigree and enough space in the back to accommodate two Euro pallets. It has been a staple of the van market for years.
The current Berlingo comes with a clever modular seating option for those who select the Extenso cab, while the BlueHDi engine can achieve up to 68.9 miles to the gallon, driving down fuel costs.
An integrated infotainment system with a seven-inch colour display, Bluetooth for hands-free calling and various inputs for peripheral connectivity are all offered as standard. And with crew van and platform cab variants available, there is a Berlingo model to suit every organisation.
Citroen Dispatch
In many situations, bigger is better. And the Dispatch is a van that takes this to heart, offering a maximum capacity of up to 1200kg within a load area that accommodates seven cubic metres with ease. The rear doors swing out on hinges at up to 180 degrees, streamlining access and making loading any pallets or equipment a breeze.
Safety and ease of use are improved thanks to both cruise-control capabilities and an onboard speed limiter which can be set to the desired level as required. This makes long-distance stints on the motorway less fatiguing, leaving drivers fresher when they reach their destination.
Citroen Relay
The latest generation of the Relay sets the bar for what a large van should be. And with a range of panel van, crew cab and conversion-ready variants available, there is a lot of choice.
Engine stop-start technology means that the already efficient power plants can be even more frugal, making light work of congested city streets. There are also optional driver aids available, including traction control and hill descent control, which help to keep the Relay on the straight and narrow even in tricky conditions.
Other add-ons include a lane-departure warning system, automatic headlights, a reversing camera and more besides. And the largest Citroen van available is built with just as much style and attention to detail as its smaller counterparts.
