About LDV

LDV Maxus Van

The 3.5 tonne version of the Maxus Van boasts a sliding door at the side and swing doors at the rear which offer more room for loading and unloading than top-selling rivals like the Ford Transit and Iveco Daily. With payloads of up to 1616kg storable on board, it can also outdo competitors such as the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. So on paper there are plenty of reasons to give this LDV model some consideration.

Under the bonnet is a 2.5 litre CDi turbocharged engine that has plenty of pulling power and is fuel-efficient as well. A well-appointed cab, comfortable seats and features like a CD player and power steering as standard give this van a lot to shout about.

LDV Maxus Minibus

There is no question of the Maxus Minibus’s ability to meet the requirements of various businesses and organisations thanks to the number of seating set-ups that are available. The largest of the range has room for a driver and 16 passengers on board, while there is an accessible model that can take up to four wheelchair users along with four passengers without feeling cramped or limited in any way.

Anti-lock brakes and an electronic brake force distribution system are integrated as standard, as are airbags for the driver and passenger up front. It is also easier to manoeuvre the Maxus Minibus than some alternative models because it has been built with a shorter body that improves its turning circle significantly.

LDV Maxus Combi

For a van that sits somewhere between a practical workhorse and a passenger car, the Maxus Combi could be an excellent choice. It has six seats for the driver and the crew or passengers, as well as a load bed that can manage 1380kg of equipment or goods.

Electric windows and mirrors are available on all models, while adding things like alloy wheels, air conditioning and metallic paint can be achieved by opting for the Platinum trim level. Meanwhile, the service intervals of 20,000 miles will make maintenance affordable.

LDV Maxus EV

The electric-powered Maxus is available both as a long-wheelbase panel van and a six-seat Combi model, giving buyers the option to select whichever set-up is most suitable.

Aside from the fact that this battery-powered van produces no harmful emissions while out on the road, it should also be recommended thanks to features such as ABS and power steering. And the range that this LDV model can cover on a single charge is impressive.

LDV Maxus SVO

LDV makes a range of SVO models of its vans which are specially adapted for use by the emergency services as well as organisations which need a bespoke vehicular solution to whatever challenges their staff might face. From police vans and ambulances to camper vans and mobile headquarters, the Maxus platform is flexible enough to embrace a range of modifications. And used SVO units can be found for sale if desired.
